What is the service?

Are you unable to visit your loved ones as often as you would like to? Does family, work commitments or distance prevent you from supporting them and causes you untold worry wondering how they are? Do they keep telling you they are alright, but you still worry constantly? This is where Evergreen’s Well-being Service can help.

Here at Evergreen, we understand how busy lives are and sometimes this can get in the way of visiting your loved ones as often as you would like. Evergreen’s Well-being Service is here to help.

• After an initial assessment, we will provide a regular Home Support Worker to visit your loved ones at pre-arranged time that suits you

• We will be your eyes and ears, ensuring all is well. This may be simple things like ensuring they drink plenty in summer or have the heating on in winter.

• It could be to prompt their medication or ensure they have had a meal.

• Or it could be just doing some simple tasks around they home whilst providing some companionship and friendship as well.

Why do we offer it?

Worrying about a loved one can cause a lot of anxiety and sometimes guilt if you are unable to visit as often as you would like.

• Here at Evergreen, we understand how a simple Well-being visit can bring you such peace of mind, knowing that someone is keeping an eye on your loved one and informing you of any changes you should know about.

• Not only this, but we hope a friendship will grow between your loved one and our Home Support Worker, making each visit an enjoyable experience and something to look forward to.
