Evergreen had the pleasure of hosting a thanksgiving event for all of our volunteers (Bexley & Dartford) on Wednesday 18th May. This was our way of saying "thank you" to each and everyone of them for all of their hard work, support and dedication within our charity. Our volunteering roles vary from befriending one of our clients, helping at our Elderberries vintage tea rooms or admin support.
We celebrated with a glass of bubbly on arrival, followed by afternoon tea. Our volunteers received a bronze certificate and badge for being with us for 2 years and a silver for 5. We have gold ready for when our volunteers reach 10 years with us! Live music was playing throughout the night and we finished with a raffle.

We are so grateful that we were able to hold this event for our volunteers. Thank you to all staff and partners for helping throughout the night. Thank you to Andy (Rogue Ginger photography) for photographing the night and very generously donating a family photoshoot for our raffle.
We would like to say a big thank you to; Co-op -Blackfen, Morrisons - Welling & Sidcup, Tesco - Welling and small Waitrose - Sidcup. These supermarkets kindly donated food and beverage for this event. We were honoured to hold this celebration at the Angelus Centre, Northumberland Heath. They have supported Evergreen for many years with previous successful events. We look forward to hosting more events at this beautiful venue in the future. THANK YOU!!
