What is the service?

Sometimes, as we get a little older, we find it a bit harder to do the day-to-day household chores without a little assistance. This is where Evergreen’s Home Support Service can help.

​

Evergreen’s Home Support Service can help with all your tasks around the home including cleaning, shopping, laundry and meals. Our dedicated team of Home Support workers are here to give you the support you need:​

• You will have a regular Home Support Worker who will visit at the same time every week.

• Building a lasting friendship with you whilst helping with the tasks around your home.

• Aware that you may need help with different tasks on the day. 

• Always happy and willing to give any assistance you may need.

Why do we offer it?

Evergreen understand that most people want to remain in their own homes and be as independent as possible. Our Home Support staff are very aware of this and will encourage you, where possible, to participate in the normal day to day activities:​

• Whether it’s helping make a bed, or washing up together, you are always in control of the activities, thus helping to maintain your self-esteem, dignity and respect.

• If you are unable to participate, that is ok, you are still able to direct your Home Support workers to the activities you want them to help you with. 

• We want our visits to be as enjoyable and productive as possible.

• Our Home Support workers are also trained to monitor your health and well-being.

Evergreen will be quick to resolve any issues and make sure any extra needs are met.
