A partnership that benefits the local community

​

Evergreen’s ethos of care is rooted in the Christian faith of its two founders and their desire to see older people receiving the love, dignity and respect they deserve. From its inception, Evergreen’s desire was to work in partnership to help churches reach out to a hurting society, working together to help those who are lonely, isolated and in need of hope for the future. By supporting us with finances, volunteers and space, you will be enabling Evergreen to reach out and help more people at a time when help is so difficult to find.

Financial Support: This could be a regular donation or collection, regular donations from your church members, or supporting one of our services.

​

Volunteers: Evergreen has many volunteering opportunities, from Admin, Befriending or helping at an Elderberries cafe. Volunteering can be a very rewarding activity for many people.

​

Space: Evergreen is always looking for different venues to hold training sessions or meetings. Or perhaps your church has the facilities to hold one of our weekly Elderberries Vintage Cafes?

​

How will it benefit our church and community?

Apart from helping the sick and the poor, which is every churches mission, other benefits are:

• By working with Evergreen, policies, procedures and safeguarding are already in place.

• Gives you the opportunity to work in partnership

• Opportunity to reach out further to the community

• Opportunities to work alongside other Evergreen Supporters such as Businesses and Schools

• Support to set up an Elderberries Café and hold other events which brings the community to your church building

And of course, you will be helping Evergreen provide much needed support to our older generation
